We met these guys at the sweetwater wetland preserve in Tucson. It doesn't smell very good there, but it is beautiful. Little Tyler was so interested in the trees that we had to do tricks to get him to look at the camera. He's so adorable though, that we managed to get some good ones!

It was hard to choose between so many photos of this adorable new family. Baby Preston was awake almost the whole time, and he hardly made a peep even through being posed and having his socks taken off in the chilly morning air. You can really see the love these new parents have for their little one. It was so much fun walking around this little garden and taking these pictures of them.

It was a family portrait kind of day at Reid park on Sunday. We must have seen at least five other groups doing photo shoots while we were there! Poor little Eva wasn't feeling very well, but we managed to get some of her sweet smiles.

We did two family photo shoots at Connor Park this weekend. We had a great time with the slides and playground equipment as props. The Campbells were a little reserved at first, by by the end they were giggling and rolling in the sand! I love this first photo of them as they were about to go down the slide all together.

My oldest friend (in years I've known her, not age...) turned 30 last week. This portrait session was just for fun, sort of a birthday gift. She was a great model!

We had a great time photographing this fun wedding that blended traditional elements like a large, formal wedding party, with fun and different things like Air Jordans and a party bus from the ceremony to the reception. They were laughing and having fun the whole time, and you can easily see how much in love they are!

Our very good friends are moving to Arkansas soon and we wanted to commemorate their few years in the Sonoran Desert before they go. Their first baby, Nathaniel Lewis, passed away when he was only a week old. The family really makes sure that Nathaniel is part of their family memories, and it was important to them that we find some creative ways of making sure he was present in the family photos. The little hat is Nathaniel's hat, and the little feet on Kristin's arm are his little footprints. The first photo was kind of perfect accident with Ian not wanting to place his hands where I said. This turned out much better, and much more authentic I think.

We had a great time at Agua Caliente park taking pictures of Matt and Kristina. We had fun using their shiny red pickup truck as a prop, and how could you not love that beautiful wetland background?

Baby Sena has changed so much since I photographed her at 3 weeks old! She is an outdoorswoman already! Picking up those yellow leaves and rolling on the grass. We had a great time wandering in the aspen trees and hiding under fir trees when it started sprinking a little on and off. Overall it was a perfect day for portraits with this beautiful baby girl.
